Live Performance Debut
When We Gather will be performed live for the first time at the National Gallery of Art on April 30th, 2022, as part of the programming around the groundbreaking Afro-Atlantic Histories exhibition.
The piece will be performed twice, at 1 pm and 3 pm, beginning at the East Garden Court of the museum. Admission is free and open to the public.

The NatiVisions Film Festival will be presenting a special screening of the black box version of When We Gather and the behind-the-scenes special, When We Gather: Together in celebration of Women’s History Month. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with artist Jana Harper, and producers Gabi Madsen and Andrea Chung.

Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival
The Los Angeles Women's International Film festival (#LAWOMESFEST) has selected the broadcast version of When We Gather as part of their short documentary program. The festival, entering its 17th edition this year, is produced by Alliance of Women Filmmakers, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and equality of women in entertainment.
Georgetown University - Operation Cura Personalis
The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University will be screening the black box version of When We Gather as part of their Operation: Cura Personalis initiative. The screening will be followed by a conversation with Executive Producer, Wendi Norris (MBA ‘96), artist, María Magdalena Campos-Pons, and producer, Virginia Shore.
African Film Festival New York
